كنيسة مار مارون - حارة صخرسنة ١٨٨١ إشترى الخواجة بطرس نصر قطعة أرضٍ في محلّة الدِقرِين وأنهى بناء الكنيسة الصغيرة سنة ١٨٩٨، لتكرَّس الكنيسة على إسم مار مارون، وهي الوحيدة في منطقة جونيه التي تحمل شفاعته. أوقف لوحة مار مارون المكاري بطرس حاويلا على إثر معجزة شفاء إبنه، وهي من عمل داوود القرم سنة ١٩٠٩. وُسّعت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠١١، وهي منذ تأسيسها رعيّة ناشطة بحركاتها الرسوليّة وأخويّاتها.The church of St Maroun - Haret SakhrIn 1881 Boutros Nasr bought a parcel of land to build a small parish church that was completed in 1898 and dedicated to St Maroun. It is the only one that bares His name in the region of Jounieh. In 1909 after the miraculous healing of his son, the painting of St Maroun, done by Dawoud el Qorm, was donated to the church by Boutros Hawila. The church was expanded in 2011. Since its beginning up until now, the parish is vibrant with its apostolic groups and confraternities.

دير مار يعقوب المقطّع - إهدن

بُني الدّير أواخر القرن الثالث عشر بعد حملة المماليك. سنة ١٤٧٠ قطنه القس يعقوب ورفاقه الوافدين من الحبشة فدُعي بدير الأحباش نسبةً إليهم. سنة ١٤٨٨، طرد الإهدنيّون الأحباش واليعاقبة بعد معركة بقوفا، فأصبح الدّير مقرًّا لأساقفة إهدن. سنة ١٦٣٢، سكنه الفرنسيسكان. جعله البطريرك إسطفانوس الدويهيّ مدرسةً لتعليم الأحداث عندما كان كاهنًا. سنة ١٩٧٦ إنهارت الكنيسة إثر عاصفة ثلجيّة. أعيد ترميمها وتكريسها صيف ٢٠٠٤ على يد المطران سمير مظلوم.

Saint Jacob the Persian Monastery - Ehden

Saint Jacob's Monastery was built at the end of the XIIIth century, after the Mamluks' invasion. In 1470, it was inhabited by Abyssinian monks. However, in 1488, the Ehdenites expelled the monks from the monastery after the Battle of Bqoufa. Later on, the monastery became the seat of Ehden's bishops. Then, in 1641, it was inhabited by Franciscan monks. In 1657, Fr. Estfen al Doueihy (later patriarch) turned it into a school for Ehden's youth. During the 18th century, the convent was completely abandoned. In the winter of 1976, a blizzard destroyed the church. Finally, it was restored in 2004 and reconsecrated by Bishop Samir Mazloum.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير القديمة - الرميلة

هي كنيسة بعقدٍ سريريٍّ وحنية واحدة، تعود للقرون الوسطى. بدايةً بنى هذا المكان المسلمون الشيعة، بدليل إتجاه البناء نحو الجنوب وليس الشرق، كما هي عادة الكنائس. في القرن الثامن عشر، وبعد معارك مع الدروز ترك الشيعة البلدة وأسكنوا الموارنة مكانهم، وأعطوهم البناء فحوّلوه إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار أنطونيوس الكبير. تعرّضت الكنيسة للتخريب خلال الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانيّة سنة ١٩٨٥، ورمّمت في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين.

The church of St Anthony the Great - Rmeileh

The church is a medieval crib vaulted structure. In the beginning, the building was built by the Chiites, for this reason it is oriented to the south and not to the east like other churches. In the XVIIIth century the Chiites left the village after their battles with the Druze. The Maronites came along and settled in and were given the old shrine that was converted into a church dedicated to St Anthony the Great. The church was severely sabotaged during the Lebanese civil war in 1985, and it was renovated a decade later.

كنيسة مار مارون - جزّين
بنيت الكنيسة بسعي أهالي البلدة سنة ١٨٦٨ على أنقاض الكنيسة الأولى التي خَربَت بعد أحداث ١٨٦٠. هي كنيسةٌ كبيرةٌ مبنيّةٌ على النمط البازيليكيّ بثلاث أسواق، وعقدها يُعدّ الأعلى في كنائس جبل لبنان القديم. اللوحة من عمل الرسّام داوود القرم.

The church of St Maroun - Jezzine
The church was built by the locals in 1868 to replace the old church that was devastated in the war of 1860. It is a big church with a basilical design and the highest vault in XIXth century Mount Lebanon. The painting of St Maroun is the work of Dawoud el Qorm.
